The homepage builder content is suddenly not showing up since yesterday: hidden link
This is how it should look: hidden link
When Toolset Views is deactivated the homepage loads again.
To the best of my knowledge no plugins were added or updated yesterday - I don't maintain this site but the owner assures me no major changes were made - other than styling changes. I updated all software this morning when troubleshooting the issue.
I've also tried switching off the builder on the homepage and that doesn't work either - the plain homepage text I added didn't display - just the page title as shown in the first screenshot above.
Can you see what could be causing this? Toolset views is currently deactivated so the homepage is showing but it is urgent as it is used for a lot of sections on this site.
I suspect that this is because the homepage might accidentally be assigned to an empty content template. You can check this by going to the page and edit it, then you can check the content template settings of the page.
I tried logging in to confirm this but the credentials don't seem to work.
I have just tried those credentials directly from the email above and they are working. They are my personal login credentials but I tested them again anyway on a new browser.
There is no meta box for content templates on the homepage - it is not available under screen options either.
It seems the page had a content template assigned to it. I managed to trash 2 content templates that had the name Page in it but weren't assigned to anything.
I did this and it started showing up fine.
Not sure why the content template option wasn't showing up on the Post but i suspect this is due to another plugin hiding it.
But the issue seems to be resolved now.
Thanks,
Shane
