[Resolved] Hiding Views loop items for different membership levels

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issu here is that the user didn't want some of his posts to show up to certain user roles.
Solution:

You can do this by following the link below.
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/limiting-read-access-specific-content/

Adding the items to a post group and setting the permissions on that group should allow these items to not show up in the list .

I am trying to hide loop items in a view based on membership settings via a plugin called ARMember. It works perfect with CPTs, posts, pages, images, etc. -- but for some reason it is not recognizing the loop item in a View like it would recognize a default archive and block the listing of the posts that the user doesn't have access to. Is there anything I can do to make the loop item in a View recognizable as a default archive item so it can be hidden?

Hi Michael,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

This might be a plugin compatibility issue.

Would you mind allowing me to log in and have a look ? Also send me a link to one of the pages that are blocked for some users.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Michael,

I believe we may need to use our Access plugin to hide these.

You can do this by following the link below.
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/limiting-read-access-specific-content/

Adding the items to a post group and setting the permissions on that group should allow these items to not show up in the list .

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane
