Good day

When a user uploads a video via the front end form in combination with the toolset video function then the URL of the video is visible. For example, a URL looks like this: hidden link
This URL is shown on the form to create a post.

My question is: Is it possible to hide this URL for users who are not an administrator?
Or if not possible to hide then hide a part of the url so that the URL looks like this: hidden link
(hiding wp-content/uploads/2019/)

Showing wordpress folders is not my preference, hence the question whether this can be hidden in one way or another.

Thanks for your service!
Greetings Pascal

Hi Pascal,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Though we may actually have a away to hide it for non admin users we may be able to hide it using CSS.

Would you mind sending me a link tot he form on the frontend ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hello Shane

To see the link on this page, a video must first be uploaded.

There is also an existing example on the site.
When you are logged in go to: hidden link
And click on the red text (llink) (hidden link)

Please keep the URLs private.

Thank you

Hi Pascal,

So I took a look at this for you.

Based on how this is built we won't be able to remove the url or hide it. Thats because the delete button for the url to add a new video is also in the save span html for the url.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello Shane

That's too bad, I had already thought something like that.
This may be a strange question, but is it not possible to hide part of the URL or give the URL the same color as the background?

Thanks for your patience and help, I really appreciate this

Hi Pascal,

Actually this Idea works.

Try this.

.js-wpt-credfile-preview wpt-credfile-preview{
color: #fffcd8;
}

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

When you are logged in, go to the top. On top you see customizer, click here.

Hi Pascal,

Should be ok now. I've changed the color and now you only see the X button.

Please let me know if this is ok.

Thanks,
Shane
