Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am trying to hide Password Protected posts from showing up on the News Archive Page.

I have been able to do this successfully on the home page by creating a new category called "Password Protected", and then using the Taxonomy filter "Select posts with taxonomy: Categories in no one of these: Password Protected" which successfully hid these posts from my Home page View.

However, the same settings seem to be unavailable in the archive. Is this an error or just not a feature for archives? Also, unsure why the archive is displaying 10 posts when settings are 12 posts per page.

What is the link to your site?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Based on the screenshot you shared - I see you have custom search archive. Is that correct?
- If yes:
You added the same taxonomy filter to your archive to filter the archive results? Is that correct? If yes:

Then we may require to use hook but I can tell after checking your current setup.

Can you please share problem URL of your archive as well as admin access details.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

So - I checked that you have setup a blog archive with custom search where you added text search filter as well as category taxonomy filter.

I see there is option with category taxonomy filter so that user can select the term option Password Protected from the drop-down select box.

Do you want to remove that option and your aim is to not include password protected term post in search result even user search using text search?
