PLEASE - anyone in support who might care that there is no decent tutorial or documentation for a Divi builder integration and I am being strangled by the time this project is taking.
I feel that I am close but I am having an issue with knowing exactly where to place the shortcodes to achieve the end results I need to get the form to work and to SAVE MY JOB.
Every time I ask I get a small breadcrumb of information that is never complete and always leaves me hanging needing to resubmit another ticket post to get yet another crumb in the effort to get your app to work.
PLEASE... SOMEONE HELP ME.
Oh.. "weekend mode" sure. Of course.
I should have known.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Well - I do not know yet but following is the Doc you should follow for Divi Integration. There are more links available in the right sidebar as well.
=> https://toolset.com/documentation/recommended-themes/toolset-divi-integration/
If you already following above link then could you please share your feedback where exactly you want to see improvements with our Docs and I would be happy to share your feedback wih our Doc team.
I don't think you understand my request. I do not have time to help you with you 'docs'.
I have a site that has your apps in it and the site does not work!!!!
Why don't we deal that so I can save my project and then I would be HAPPY to point out the many failure of your docs.
Ok - I would be happy to help you with your issue.
Could you please share problem URL and point out your issue and I will try to guide you in the right direction.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
I submitted a plead for help. I am literally at a complete stand still because everything in your "docs" lead back to Bootstrap.
I have been consulting Divi support on a few of these issues and even they have no idea how to navigate your settings.
HOW IS TOOLSET COMPATIBLE WITH MY THEME AS YOU MARKETING SAYS???
I WANT THE ENTIRE WORLD TO KNOW WHAT A LITERAL NIGHTMARE I AM EXPERIENCING WITH YOU.

The form is on the bottom. Try searching for something!
I am angry because I have asked for help on issues specific to my theme. Your support has returned with a maze of bread crumb information and more links which lead to link which lead to more links which ultimately lead to Bootstrap which is disabled on my project. I try to reach out for help and you send me into the of then very same articles.
I have a site with your apps and it dose not work. I'm sure that it is something that is not set up correctly and I have read you 'docs' repeatedly.
On just a simple request to one of your agents to assist with how to enable a link to open in a new browser instead of the same window, instead of directly me to fix the issue he sends me "to introduce the target="_blank" attribute to it's a tag" and a link to a coding tutorial. The problem is I KNOW THIS INFORMATION I JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW TO ENTER IT IN TOOLSET.
I ask Divi support to help and THEY could not see how to enter it.
WHY COULD YOU AGENT NOT SIMPLY INDICATE WHERE TO INTRODUCE THE TAG INSTEAD OF SENDING ME BREADCRUMB INFORMATION???
well - I'm ready to help if you share information we need.
If you do not see the option target="_blank" that means it might not be available. You need to pinpoint me exact place where you are having the issue and what you want to achieve that way we can reduce the back and forth and I can guide you to the exact solution if available.
With the link you shared - I do not see any form and again you have issue with searching or displaying the results?:
=> hidden link
I appreciate your offer to help and I will try very hard to control my frustration and anger. There are multiple issues. Do you want to address them each in this same ticket?
Beginning with the new browser link. On the /search-results/ page that is supposed to display a product summery View, I would like the View to link to the Product page (as it current does) but open in a new browser tab.
This is very simple and should be available.
Next issue: The search not working.
I provided the incorrect link before. The search form can be accessed from two location: 1. below the homepage and 2. from the "Search Other Work" link in the navigation bar of the Product pages.
I have described exactly what my objectives were for displaying the form and results. One of your agents tells me to include the two codes together, another says to separate them leaving me confused.
I am open to suggestions for the best way to integrate the the form and results display. For example:
From the homepage form, once a query were submitted, the page could rise up to display the search results (with pagination) in an area directly below the form which is directly below the homepage header image. This would be one ideal solution for the landing page search.
The "Search Other Work" link in the top navigation bar of the internal pages links to the /search-form/ page where the search form will display directly below the navigation. Here:just like the homepage, when a query where entered, the page could rise up to display the results (with pagination) can display directly below.
Do you mean that when user click on any result item (product) on the following search result page:
=> hidden link
When user click on it - the clicked product item should be opened with new tab? If yes - with the view which is displaying this product - you should use:
<a href="[wpv-post-url]" target="_blank" title="[wpv-post-title]"> [wpv-post-title] </a>
If you are using Divi above shortcodes should be divi compitible - for example:
{!{wpv-post-url}!}

Minesh,
I do not understand. First, it's not 'if" I am using Divi, it's a fact, I am using Divi. Being diverted away from Divi in conversation adds to my confusion because I AM A DIVI USER (period)!
I appreciate your help but since I can not get specific Divi user information from your documentation, I have to ask you to be as direct and specific as you possibly can.
So you say I am to use [wpv-post-title]
OK, in your reply do PLEASE do not refer to anything else but EXACTLY where I should paste this code in your UI. Include a simple screenshot if possible.
Specifically and exactly. Let's not waste any more TIME than is absolutely necessary!
I am waiting to know exactly where in the Toolset UI to paste, [wpv-post-title]
Point to the exact spot--- PLEASE!
I'm very sorry I have to plead at this point.
Hi Charles,
Lets slow down a bit here and see If I can understand the issue at hand since Minesh's shift has closed.
From what I see in your last post you want to click on the title of the post and have it link to their respective pages, correct?
Thanks,
Shane
To clarify, currently on the /search-results/ page when you click on the image or title the page already transfer to the product page rooted to the image or title clicked. This is correct except, when the image or title is clicked, I need the product page to open in a new browser instead and leave the results displayed in the original browser.
Also, I just noted the category link below the title as indicated in the screenshot. When I click it, it goes to a raw display of what I assume are search results but it is an unstyled page and I either need to know how to locate so I can style it with Divi or I need to deactivate it. It can not be seen in its current raw state.
I am open to any suggestion to achieve my objective.
