[Resolved] Height of embedded video is too large

This support ticket is created 6 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

Hi there,

I'm currently trying to upload an embedded video onto the first row of my layout. However, when I've uploaded the video it is coming way larger than I expected and when I try and change the dimensions it is not letting me do so. I wish to keep a full width, although I would to keep the height at around 600px. I've used a friend's video as an example from where you can see this in the link below.

I'm currently using the Divi theme and Types/Layouts to perform the action of the above.

I expected to see:
An embedded video in which I could easily change the dimensions using the format option.
Instead, I got:
A video that is far too larger for the screen and will not amend despite adding dimensions

So do you want to crop the video vertically, or do you want to show the full height of the video but stretch it horizontally? I am not clear from your description which you want to do.
