When inserting an existing view via the View block into a page, the view is displayed incorrectly as grid settings appear to not be respected. When pasting that same view directly into the page, it displays correctly. Whether inserting an existing view or creating the view directly in the page, the output should be identical.

As you can see in the attached screenshot, the top slider view is an existing view inserted via the View block. It does not fill the full width of its container. It should be a 2 column grid that fills the full width of its container, but appears to be displaying 3 columns?

The bottom view is the same view as above except the entire view is pasted directly into the page. It displays exactly as expected.

I've reported this type of problem here but don't think it was recognized as an issue...

... as well as a secondary issue in this ticket (start talking about it in the 3rd or 4th post)...

Hi Peter

I checked this on my own test site and can confirm the issue.

When you insert the copy of the View it fails to copy over updated settings for the grid and instead applies the default settings (i.e. a 3 column grid instead of a 2-column grid).

I've escalated this internally so that our developers can take a look, and I'll update you here when I have some feedback.
