I am trying to: include Google map via Toolset Maps plugin (not listed in "Which plugin or feature is your question related to" options above)

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link - click section B (VÝBER PODĽA ŠKOLY)

I expected to see: Google Map with 2 markers

Instead, I got: blank Google map with just the background

Hi Tomas,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

I suspect that this issue is being caused by a plugin conflict.

Could you try temporarily disable all the non-toolset plugins and checking again to see if the map starts showing ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hello, Shane,
thanks for your reply.
Nope, already tried that - all the plugins deactivated and still no-go 🙁
Any other suggestions, please?
Thanks,
Tom

Funny thing:
when I activate plugin "WP Google Map Plugin" (hidden link) the map and markers appear, but Chrome console reports script errors. I think the problem is somewhere in the <head> section calling the Google Maps scripts. Just an idea.

Hi Tomas,

Do you have any idea when this issue started to occur ?

This could give us a clue to what happened here.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello, Shane,
This is a development site, installed the plugin two days ago and it did not start working.
I have it installed on another presentation in development and it works smoothly (hidden link). Also, with and even without the same "WP Google Map Plugin" activated. But when the WPGMP is activated, the same error message in console appears - see the screenshot.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tomas,

Are these sites using the same exact servers?

#913587

Hi, Shane,
ufff, absolutely no idea, but suppose so - same domain

Hi Tomas,

I suspect some server issue is causing this because as you see the markers displays but not the map.

Would you mind if I took a duplicator package from your site to test this locally ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Tomas,

I think the issue now is with the API Key.

I'm seeing this message on the backend
REQUEST_DENIED - This API project is not authorized to use this API.

Could you try re-generating the API key again. Also is it using a restricted Referrer?

Thanks,
Shane

Hello, Shane,
dont think it is an API problem - I have copied the same API from the other project now and still not working.
Also, in the Settings pane I can see that API is correct.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tomas,

Is this using an unrestricted referrer?

Please try an API key that doesn't restrict the domain and let me know the results.

Thanks,
Shane

hello, Shane, still the same result. I see you have installed Duplicator - have you managed to replicate the problem on your server?
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tomas,

Could you try this key AIzaSyBA-np9gWvhU1DpKDRnwi-LyZAnwPr19XI

This key should work on your site . Let me know if the map starts working.

Thanks,
Shane
