Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have a location taxonomy based on the county of Cornwall. The parent is Cornwall with towns & villages as children. Each of my cpt is allocated a child location. Each post has a google map centred on their location. This all works fine.
I do have some cpt that do business across the whole parent of Cornwall. I want to be able to add a map centred in the middle of Cornwall with no pointer at all. The map should only show Cornwall (map (1)) not the whole of Europe - see 2nd image
Is there any documentation that you are following? Maps
Thank you for contacting our support forum.
This is actually possible but you will need to provide the coordinates for Cornwall so that the map centers above it.
When inserting the map you will need to click on "Map Zoom and Center" and then select 'Set zoom and center manually' . See Screenshot
From there you will need to set the map center coordinates.
I had already done all that but whatever zoom I put in it always reverts to the 2nd image which is too far out - I need it like the first image.
Thanks
As the site is live I haven't left it available. You could use this one as an example though - hidden link
What I want to do is that if there is a marker then it centres on that. If there isn't then it just shows the whole map of Cornwall.
