[Resolved] Google address doesnt always display pin

Hi

We have front end forms where people can add 'events. One of the fields is an 'address field'

If the user puts in a full postcode or address and selects the address from the drop down the 'pin' displays and when the form is submitted and content live it displays the map - so far so good.

If the user puts in a partial address , regions or town - for example 'London', and then selects that from the drop down the pin appears in the right place BUT when the published content is view the map just shows a map of the work without the pin

If I then go into wp admin and edit that content and select 'london' it again shows as a pin on the map in the back end BUT this time when I update the content it displays correctly on the map.

This is constantly and consistently happeneing

Any ideas?

Hi, I'm not exactly sure why that would be happening but it could be an issue with your API key. Can you please go to Toolset > Settings > Maps and click "Check API"? Let me know the results.

In my local tests, the pin is usually displayed even if the city is not selected from the dropdown...but I'll be glad to test in your site if you'd like. Do you have a development environment, or could I test on the live site?
