Problem:
The issue here is that the user wanted to display the repeatable image fields in a gallery.
Solution:
This can actually be done with our Toolset blocks plugin which adds a block to the gutenburg editor for Repeatable Fields/Gallery.
It will generate a gallery of the frontend for your repeatable fields.
