Hi team, first of all I would like to say thanks for your latest blog post ‘What’s Next For Toolset’. I know it has received mixed reviews, and just think that some of the reaction from the Toolset community is just fear of what we would do if you guys stopped delivering Toolset.
I for one hope you are sticking around for a long time to come and when the time is right you guys will start more developments on the plugins.
I just want to check that I am ok to continue to use the ‘Toolset Views’ plugin and that it isn’t suddenly going to be made redundant/retired, and at the very least maintained to work in the future. Or at least be reassured that ‘Toolset Views’ won’t be fully retired unless ‘Toolset Blocks’ matches the level of options we currently have with ‘Toolset Views’.
‘Toolset Views’ still provides so many options that ‘Toolset Blocks’ currently doesn’t and I currently have a site in development that relies on 'Toolset Views'. For example I currently use ‘Toolset Views’ query filter that allows me to list items from the 'current logged in user'. This feature is not available using ‘Toolset Blocks’. That is just one example but I’m sure I have plenty more just like a few other users who have commented on the post, as ’Toolset Views’ gives us endless possibilities.

Just wanted to inform you in short that we are going no where and there is no play to retired Toolset views but as shared with the blog post we are just waiting to see how "Full Site Editing" with WordPress is going to be and what is the features/blocks they are going to offer. However - We keep supporting our legacy plugins like "Toolset Views" and there is no plan to make it retire as of now. You can keep using it and we are here to offer you support if you stuck anywhere.
We will not hide anything with users in terms of honesty as you see we already shared with users with the blog post "Whats next with Toolset". We are just sharing what is truth and wanted you people should keep informed about that. Even anything in future we do have update in regards of further plan or movement we will keep inform you people via blog post. We will try to keep things transparent.
