When I deactivate/uncheck the option
Frontend Sorting: Use default WooCommerce sorting for product archives.

No products are shown. I have also tried to add a toolset sorting option to the view, but that doesn't change anything.

Hi there

I went to your site but I can't see the problem.

I disabled the option to use the default WC sorting for product archives, visited the shop page, and I can see products (screenshot).

What I couldn't see, though, were the sorting controls themselves (when the option to use the default sorting controls *was* checked, which normally adds a dropdown with sorting options, as shown in the second screenshot).

I tried to check if it showed when using the default twentyseventeen theme, but when switching to that theme the shop page would no longer load, it appears to have fatal errors.

For the twentyseventeen theme not to work I take it you have quite a bit of customisation on the site.

If you can set up your site so that it works with twentyseventeen without breaking then I can investigate further.
