[Resolved] Front-end Forms for Editing Content in WordPress

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

I was trying to implement the process as described in the video course "Front-end Forms for Editing Content in WordPress"
When implementing "adding a form"in "Fields and Text I was asked to select a Layout instead of a Content Template as described in the video.

Anyway , I created a Layout which holds the Form I want to use.

I can insert the shortcode ( see image ) but nothing happens . I do not see the Edit button for the link on the Post.

I've attached the view from the Chrome Inspect also

Hi Dirk

Are you using Layouts on your site? That's a legacy plugin only intended for use on existing older sites.

If you don't need it you should disable it, and then your editing experience with blocks (and templates) should be the same as you see in the course videos.
