[Resolved] Front end forms for adding content

Hello,
I have had several attempts to reproduce the example page sent recently,
But I am not sure I am getting the order or content of build correct.
I have quite a few options to build into select fields
E.G. Boat Types: Sailing Boats, Power Boats, Catamarans etc at least 10

There are various other select fields to be included in the Page.
Should these be created prior to the page as Categories or Taxonomies

It seems some of the Pages are already created see Time 1:35 but it is not shown how these are created.

It seems as a newbie to Toolset, I need a path of which information and which pages are needed to be able to create the front-end-forms-for-adding-content

Can anyone please assist me with this?

I'm assuming here that you have not yet created your post types as yet. If such is the case then this should be your starting point.

Hello Shane and thanks for the welcome.
I am not sure if you can access the site I have on the toolset server.

It's a surprise that this seems to update itself with no FTP!

For a start I have two headings in the menu which I would like to delete and I cannot find a way to do this.
They are listed as Length in Feet and Length in Meters
These should be Categories.
Perhaps you will let me know how to delete these items please.

I have managed to remove the headings
Length in Feet and Length in Meters
I would now like to remove Boat Details in the menu Under Boats but cannot find a way to do this.

I wish to remove this in order to start afresh.

Hi John,

If the site is on your local server then I won't be able to see it.

I would now like to remove Boat Details in the menu Under Boats but cannot find a way to do this.

Perhaps you can send me a screenshot of the items you want to remove. Secondly are you able to put the site on a live server so that I can assist better?

I think you will now be able to get on the site as above now, can this link be hidden?
I thought about removing Boats For Sale as I could not remove the category class.
I called it Category by mistake and could not find a way to remove this.
If you open that link now you will be able see where I have been creating the post types. It looks a bit cramped at this moment so many fields.

I just tried the url above and it is not working now.
It was working OK yesterday when I last used it but now I am getting a 404 error.

Thanks for your interest Shane.
I have uploaded the files to a subdomain of a website but I have yet to upload the database. I am rusty on this as I have not done this for some time.
I have sent my proposed method to the server staff and am waiting for their comments just to make sure I get it right.
So hopefully soon....
Alternatively I could end this this thread and come back as necessary
