Does it really work for you?!
For me it doesn't. I didn't change anything since yesterday and checked again today. Some product pages work, others don't.
Can you see why?
Example:
hidden link
Starting form the products overview, please try the first 3 entries:
- C1: page not found (links to /products/c1/ but it hould be /produkte/c1/)
- C2: german page ok, english page not found
- C3: page not found (links to /products/c3/ but it hould be /produkte/c3/)
What's going on?!!! The redirection plugin is not active anymore.
Do you need FTP and MySQL access?
As I shared I was able to see the product single post translated with produkte post type slug in URL - I'm passing this ticket to another supporter (Jamal) who works in weekend to ensure you should receive the support in weekend.
First of all, I saved the permalinks again to flush any rewrite rules, then I visited the page hidden link
The first time I opened a German product, I encountered an ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error on the original product, but only once. I visited 6 products in both languages without issues. Check this example hidden link
I can see there is a difference between the CPT slug in Types definition and in WPML settings, but I don't see any errors generated by it. I might need to take a copy of your website to debug this further and find out what's makes the slug appear differently in Toolset Settings.
Let me know if that's fine with you, so I can install the Duplicator package and take the copy.
Hello Jamal,
thanks for the continuing support.
I checked your example with product "C1", but I still get "page not found". I don't know what causes this.
Please install Duplicator and take a copy. The faster we get to the bottom of this the better.
Thanks guys for your work!
I took a copy of your website and worked on it locally. I couldn't fix it, so I thought it may be a new bug introduced by the latest updates of Types or WPML. So, I tried a clean install and I was not able to reproduce similar issues.
So, I did the following in my local copy and it fixed the issue, then I did the same on your site and it seems to fix the issue. Now, I am able to access archives and products in both languages:

1. Disabling slug translation in WPML->Settings->Multilingual Content Setup->Slug translations.
2. Removing all registered slugs in WPML->String Translation.
3. Adding a custom rewrite base for the post type. Check this screenshot hidden link
4. Enabling slug translation in WPML->Settings->Multilingual Content Setup->Slug translations.
5. Translating the slug in WPML->Settings->Multilingual Content Setup->Post Types Translation.
6. Flushing rewrite rules by saving permalinks twice in Settings->Permalinks.
Can you please check from your side if the issues are fixed or if there is any issue I missed?
