Hi,

The framework installer plugin is causing a massive increase of CPU ussage which caused that my website couldn't load anymore. The site wasn't accessable for anyone.

The issue seems to be present due to every page load process attempting to connect to an external IP which is currently not responding:
0.000038 connect(5, {sa_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(443), sin_addr=inet_addr("3.122.250.8")}, 16) = -1 EINPROGRESS (Operation now in progress)

The IP seems to be related to an amazon service utilized by "framework-installer" plugin:
u1628-tn9iujsksgbp@gnldm1038.siteground.biz:~/www/mijnwingman.nl/public_html$ host 3.122.250.8
8.250.122.3.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer ec2-3-122-250-8.eu-central-1.compute.amazonaws.com.

So far i deactivated the plugin and the site is working again,

However what i don't know (can't figure out): If the site is utilizing the plugin in question for any functionalities that may affect how the site is functioning?

Thanks in advance for your support!

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Can you please check now and see if the issue is resolved or not. Please try to activate the Framework Installer plugin and see if everything is back to normal or you are still facing the same issue.

Hi Minesh,

Thank you for your reply!

I'm willing to activate the plugin again, but first i want to know if I actully need the plugin for my site to run correct.
If not i'll check if the problem still occurs but wil deactivate afterwards.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

The Framework Installer plugin only required when you want to install the reference sites offered by Toolset.

If you do not want to install any of the reference site then the Framework Installer plugin is not needed and not required to install. You are allowed to deactivate or even delete it.

Hi Minesh,

Thank you for the fast reply.

Just activated the plugin and the site is reachable again so guess everything works as it's supposed to.

Also thank you for the explanation about the plugin! I just deactivated it again.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
