[Resolved] filters not working

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The issue here is that the user's ordering isn't working.

Solution:

In this user case the he had the Order Post Type plugin installed.

This plugin is known to cause issues with our Views ordering.

This support ticket is created 6 years, 7 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

filter view by views and by date

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see: filter by views and date

Instead, I got: no changes in page

instead of that i have a active site with same view in spanish:

wich works fine (i duplicated it to start a french site )

very strange

tried to update views and toolset with no results!!

please help

Thank you fro contacting our support forum.

I took a look at this for you and the filters seems to be working fine to me.

Perhaps its cause i'm not sure what the filtered information should look like. Could you give me an example scenario of what should show up based on an applied filter.

please change "ordenar" field to "fecha" - "antiguas" meaning old posts
this doesnt work- try changing this a couple of times
take a look at the url - it seems to be changed well and if you refresh the screen the filter works...
its like the url doesn't take effect

plugin "Post Types Order" was conflicting with toolset....
any ideas how to solve it?

Hello,

I see the issue at hand, so its your ordering filter thats not working.

Unfortunately no this is a conflict because the post type order plugins modifies the queries we use to return the post and it's going to use the order set in the Post Type order plugin.
