[Resolved] Filter taxonomy view by taxonomy

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to know if it was possible to add a search to a taxonomy view.

Solution:

Unfortunately no this isn't possible as only views that are used to display posts can have search filters.

This support ticket is created 6 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

I am trying to create a taxonomy view that can be filtered by another taxonomy on frontend.

Example: All publication (taxonomy) under a category (taxonomy)

Or is it that you want the view to auto filter by the taxonomy that it is placed on..
