[Escalated to 2nd Tier] Filter not working properly on Archive?

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Hello there!

I have a Problem with a Filter on Archive Pages. I am using that Filter across the the whole site. And it works everywhere except for this Archive pages.

I have a CPT "Kritiken" and it cotains ratings from 1-6 in .5 increments.

On the Frontend i have a dropdown to filter results based on those ratings.

When you use the Dropdown Filter on that Archive pages it will filter on full numbers (1.0, 2.0 etc) but when you select a .5 rating like 3.5 - no results are found. Weird thing is, if i change the rating in the URL from a 3.5 to a 3,5 i receive the results as expected. ?!

Hey there,

I was able to replicate this issue in a fresh install.

I checked this out but so far I couldn't find a fix for it.

I asked my colleagues to have a look at this issue in order to see if there's anything I'm missing.

I'll come back here as soon as one of my colleagues reply back to me (which it shouldn't take long).

Hello and thank you for your patience.

Our 2nd tier team made a thorough analysis on this issue and they identified that currently there's no workaround available for the issue.

Since this will require some work in the code, we have now escalated this issue to our developers.

It has been reported already and it is currently being worked on.

I will set the current ticket status to "Escalated to Toolset developers team" and I will get back to you as soon as I get any feedback from them.

Thank you for your patience, and I apologize for the delay.

Unfortunately, due to resource constraints, this issue hasn't been addressed yet. I understand the frustration with the lack of updates, but please know that our development team is aware of the situation and it is in their backlog. However, I cannot provide an exact timeline for when it will be resolved.
