I have flat taxonomy category. i want to fill category text box with prefilled category. but category shows above the text box. plz see attached image. I tried following jquery $('#cred_form_1117_1_1_test').val('xxx'); to replace category/taxonomy filed with xxx it replace text box but immediately after replacing it goes up as shown in image 2. i want this in text box

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

There is no native way to convert such function as its natively added to form. As you already added, you will have to add custom Javascript/jQuery code to apply such modifications but again such custom edit is beyond the scope of our support policy.
