I'm buiding a knowledge base where user can upload documents and created a form that creates a post including the document. file upload fields are included in the form but won't show on the front end. See test form on hidden link

Is there any documentation that you are following? Checked all forms documentation, form is correct,
Is there a similar example that we can see? hidden link

Off topic: For some reason the documents will only show when pressing 'Zoek' button while it should show document pages already added.

That is strange. I'm not sure why file upload field is not showing on frontend.

Can you please send me admin access details and let me review whats going wrong with your setup.

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I've checked the custom field group that is assigned to post type Document:

I do not see any file related field.

Do you mean you want to add the Generic file upload field? Can you please clarify why you need that file field only on form and you do not added to the custom field group above?

I just added a CPT field doc2upload to the CPT Documenten and added the field to the form.

What i'm trying to accomplish is an easy way for users to upload a document and create a post about the document in which the document is embedded and shows as an embedded pdf see hidden link
