I'm trying to translate Fields and Text Block with wpml.
This is one of many blocks on my landingpage. However only this single block did not show up in the translation list.
As soon as I removed the css class the block showed up in the translation list

Hi Maximilian,

Thank you for getting in touch.

In order to ensure that i'm doing the correct steps to replicate the issue. Is you Fields and Text Block being translated from the page directly or are you translating it through a content template ?

Please let me know and I can see what is happening here.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Maximilian,

Thank you for the information.

Unfortunately I'm not able to replicate the issue. As you can see from my screenshots, I was able to translate the content from the Field and Text block with no issues at all.

Can you record a short video demonstrating the process that you are doing to translate the post with the block. This should help me to identify any issues in the translation process.

Thanks,
Shane

Have you added a a css class to the text block?
I'm not able to record a video, but you can test it yourself on the site with the login information that I provided on my other support ticket.

Hi Maximilian,

Thank you for the clarification. I had missed adding that initially. When I did the issue was clearly replicable and as such I've escalated the issue to our 2nd tier team for further checks.

I will post an update once the checks have been made.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Maximilian,

I've gotten word from our development team that this will be fixed in version 1.3 of our Blocks plugin so you can expect this fix in our next release.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Maximilian,

This issue should've now been fixed. Can you confirm that it no longer occurs

Thanks,

Hi Maximilian,

This issue doesn't occur for me. I'm able to translate the block successfully when there is a class added. See Screenshot.

As you can see my Field is available for translation.

Perhaps what you need to do is to delete the translation and try to re-translate it. If that doesn't work, can you provide me with admin access to this test site so that I can have a look ?

Thanks,
Shane

Please see the page /fr/krypton
There are part numbers (eg: 91-34-14419) which have a link (and a css class) to the german translation. I'm not able to change it to link to the french translation site.

Hi Maximilian,

Can you try recreating this page on a test page and try to re-translate it and let me know if the issue still remains ?

I see where you have 2 classes but i tested this senario on my test page and it works.

As you can see the field shows up for translation.

So you may need to delete the block and re-add it as well to re-translate.

Thanks,
Shane
