Suggest Checkbox with "Hide this Field" Functionality on the custome field types, for example, a custom field with a fixed value be hidden on the custom post type entry form.

Hi Susanna

Thanks for the feedback.

We already have plans to have a hidden custom field type in the near future. It might not make a lot of sense to make arbitrary field types hideable (for example, a select dropdown being hidden seems like a waste), so probably it will end up being an input with a fixed, hidden value, that you set when you define the field.

We would like to get any other details that you would want to see in this field type, so feel free to share here with me any extra idea or characteristic that you think it should hold.

Regards.
