[Resolved] Fatal Error – updates in WP

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The user is get the fatal error "Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required" after updating their CRED plugin.

Solution:

Try downloading the forms plugin and uploading it.

I would recommend uploading the plugin folder to your site in the /wp-content/plugins folder overwriting the contents in the cred-frontend-editor folder.

When you unzip the toolset forms plugin you should get a folder with the same name. Just upload this and overwrite the previous folder.

The plugin can be downloaded from the link below.

Hi guys,

could you provide me for finding solution of fatal error after updates of new version of toolset. I tried to update all of my plugins and i think that updates of toolset plugin doesnt update completely. So when i want to reconnect to my site (after 2days) i only see this fatal error - you can check on my page: hidden link

Warning: require_once(/web/htdocs4/ictportalcz/home/www/wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/application/bootstrap.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /web/htdocs4/ictportalcz/home/www/wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/plugin.php on line 84

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/web/htdocs4/ictportalcz/home/www/wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/application/bootstrap.php' (include_path='.') in /web/htdocs4/ictportalcz/home/www/wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/plugin.php on line 84

Is it possible to download new plugins via download section here and insert it via ftp directly? I cant login into my WP dashboard to reinstall (or delete other plugins).

Thanks for information.

Hi Jakub,

Based on these warnings it seems to be coming from our Toolset forms plugin. So you can try downloading the forms plugin and uploading it.

I would recommend uploading the plugin folder to your site in the /wp-content/plugins folder overwriting the contents in the cred-frontend-editor folder.

When you unzip the toolset forms plugin you should get a folder with the same name. Just upload this and overwrite the previous folder.

Please let me know if this was able to help you or if further assistance is needed.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks,
Shane
