[Resolved] failed update

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user is trying to update his plugins but the update fails. This is actually a known issue and escalated to our team for further debugging.

Solution:

In this case I would recommend that you perform a manual update of the plugins by going to our plugins download page below and downloading the plugin and update it through FTP

This support ticket is created 6 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

In addition to the solution given by the moderator, I had to first deactivate and delete the old versions before getting a successful install when manually updating the views and types plugin.
