We are trying to Export Users using a variety of WordPress plugins for this task. But we want the export file to include the custom user fields that we built using Toolset. I'm not seeing these fields among the available options to add to the export file in any of the plugins we've tried.
Do you know of any way to Export Users that would recognize and allow the inclusion of your User Fields?
Hi there,
There is no plugin that I can think of to do such a thing.
Maybe you can ask about that from WP All Import:

I know that they have a special add-on for Toolset but I am not sure about the user fields.
Thanks.
I don't think they have anything for Exporting Toolset custom field data. The link you provided shows they do have some import capabilities, but it's not clear if that would include user fields as you indicated. But I see no mention of Toolset in there under Exporting and that's what we really need.
Please consider it a feature request to create another add-on plugin to allow for Exportation of data from all Toolset custom field groups and Views. For any View created in table format that is intended to serve as a report of any kind, it would be great to have the ability to export the results. And being able to pull other data from custom fields like these user fields would be very helpful. I'm in preliminary discussion with one of your Toolset Contractors about this already, but I'm not yet sure how much he would want to charge for this if he can do it. Would you want me to keep you updated on this if we get this done? I'm thinking I may have four clients that would be willing to cost share on the development of this. I know two need this and two more would probably want it if the price is right, which may be achievable for them through cost sharing, depending on how much the contractor will want. I'm thinking MANY Toolset users would be able to benefit from this.
Hi there,
Thank you for your input. For the time being, we do not process the Feature Requests as we are busy working on the compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress and some lingering bugs.
But we will be happy if you can share a solution that will work as we do not have one for the time being.
Having said that, I'd appreciate it if you could log the feature request here to make sure it is counted as a request for the future:

Thank you.
Ok, I submitted the feature request.
Note that I have found something for this now. There is a plugin called amr users. You have to tell it to check for new fields, but it does include all the custom user fields created with Toolset as being among the fields it can use for exports. So I think I'll be able to accomplish this goal with that plugin.
We do still have other needs where the ability to export data in fields used on any View would be very helpful and needed.
This amr users plugin gets us closer to what we'd call ideal for the set up of what we're trying to do, but this is still a Plan B solution. It does make the Plan B solution workable though. We're still working on a Plan A solution, but everything with that is something I think you'd advise us to get a Toolset Contractor to handle. Our other currently open support thread has what we're trying to do there:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/user-form-integration-with-a-woocommerce-product/
With this, we have purchased a premium plugin called Woocommerce Custom Product Addons (WCPA) that allows for a form to be included with a Woocommerce product to where the Add to Cart button doubles as the form submission button. If we can get the fields from WCPA to map to the custom User Fields we created with Toolset, then we'll have exactly what we need. WCPA support has indicated a willingness to assist us with this. They said they can help with that and getting a different export plugin to recognize their fields. But now I've found that the amr users plugin recognizes Toolset fields, so that opens up another possible approach to getting everything.
I'll let you know if we find a solution that works. But for now, I think you can recommend this amr users plugin for anyone that wants to download user data including Toolset custom user fields.
Hi there,
Thank you for the information. Just to let you know about the implementation of the User Custom Fields in Toolset. It uses the standard user meta in WordPress to add the information.
So if you create the structure in the destination website using Toolset, the data can be moved with any standard plugin that supports user meta export like the plugin that you have mentioned.
Thank you.
This isn't an export/import need. This is to get a downloadable CSV or XLS file of the current site Members at any time, complete with all the custom field data from their original membership form submission.
We have the general user information, but then we have custom fields as well. For example, we have Emergency Contact and Emergency Phone as two of those custom fields. This is for a bike riding club and it will be better to have this in a spreadsheet file available offline for faster access in the event someone gets in a bad wreck on one of our rides. It will be easiest for us to be able to have the full form data for all members to have that available any time offline. Of course it will have to be updated periodically to include newer members.
I'm not sure if WCPA is going to be able to do what we need here. Their reply to us after initially indicating they would do this indicates to me they don't fully understand what I've asked them for. So they may not be able to do this for us after all. We may be forced to stick with the Plan B Toolset solution that makes it a two-step process for end users to start the membership process, with the user form being totally separate from the Woocommerce product.
Hi there,
Thank you for the further explanation, well that is certainly what we do not have in Toolset.
So you did the correct thing to ask it as a feature request.
Thanks.
Update. Now WCPA has come through with making their fields downloadable using the Order Export plugin they steered us to. That is now working for us. So we have our Plan A solution with that. But now, we're looking at the advantages Toolset can provide by having these fields as custom User fields and I'm liking our Plan B solution for those reasons as well. So now we're going to try to get both solutions.
In discussions with WCPA support, they like my idea of having an option to make their form fields also be custom user fields. They've indicated they are now working on making that feature request a reality. I've asked if we can get these mapped to the Toolset fields we created or do this in another way where Toolset will recognize and be able to use these fields with how WCPA plans to save them. They have said they will do this, but it will take awhile to develop. I'm not sure how their end result will work as it relates to Toolset. I'll see whenever they finish. I'll let you know how it goes.
Thank you for the information.
