Hi,

I'm trying to export a backup (zip file) with all the layouts from a website in order to import them in a website under development.
The zip seems to be complete, the import runs well (no error) but only one layout is imported.

I had no issue so far exporting and importing Types and Views.

Hi Thomas

I just tested this on a local test site (had to dust off the Layouts plugin) and I found the same.

The site I was exporting from had two layouts, and the import log on the second site showed both layouts being imported (screenshot), but when I go to Toolset > Layouts I find only one of them available.

I need to look into this further, so bear with me while I do some debugging, and I'll get back to you.

Sorry, I haven't forgotten you. I spent a couple of hours on this and I can see where the process is going wrong, which I'm sharing with the developers, but I'm trying to come up with a workaround so that you don't have to wait for a plugin update for a solution.

I'm actually off today, so I'll hopefully be able to share a solution with you on Monday.

I still don't have a solution for the problem importing the zip file, but there is a simple workaround you can employ so that you are not stuck with this issue.

Expand the zip file, and then import the individual .ddl layout files individually. Importing them one at a time will work, just doing them all in one go via the zip file is problematic at the moment.

Thank you for the workaround. I did import the layouts individually and it worked fine.
