Error when trying to activate Toolset Types

This support ticket is created 4 years, 1 month ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Im trying to uppdate toolset types to the latest version because the old one was from 2019 and caused errors after updating wordpress to the latest version.

But site still breaks when trying to activate the new version. Ihave tried to uppload the plug in via WordPress and via FTP. The plug-in still breaks the site when activated. You can see the error message in the attached file.

Thank you for getting in touch.

Is it just the Toolset Types plugin only you have on the site or is it that you have our other Toolset plugins installed?

If so then you will need to update all your Toolset plugins at once.

Hi Amanda,

I've downloaded a copy of the site and activated the Types plugin and it was working fine after I activated the plugin.

Can you let me know what version of PHP you are using on the server as this is one of the main difference between the localhost server that i'm using and your live server.

My server is running version 7.4.12 of PHP

Hi again! i changed the PHP to 7.4.21 and then it worked! Great!
