I have the following message at the top of my Toolset dashboard:
Toolset plugin cannot connect to toolset.com
Toolset needs to connect to its server to check for new releases and security updates. Something in the network or security settings is preventing this. Please allow outgoing communication to toolset.com to remove this notice.
The installer log message is:
toolset: Site key does not match for hidden link
I tried deregistering the site, using the OTGS installer, manually installing.. and the message still comes up.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
What if you try to delete the existing site key and generate a new one and try to register the new site key.
Please try to follow the steps given with the following link:
- https://toolset.com/faq/how-to-install-and-register-toolset/#automatic-installation-once-you-have-otgs-installer-plugin-installed
I have tried this several times and as soon as I activate the installer, I get that same message.
I have also cleared the cache on all levels.
The request argument indicates it is looking for an old key w77RJetlQM
OTGS_Template_Service_Php_Model Object ( [attributes:OTGS_Template_Service_Php_Model:private] => Array ( [body] => OTGS_Template_Service_Php_Model Object ( [attributes:OTGS_Template_Service_Php_Model:private] => Array ( [action] => site_key_validation [site_key] => w77RJetlQM [site_url] => hidden link [source] => 3 [installer_version] => 3.0.3 [theme] => LadyJane2023 [site_name] => Children's Policy Centre [repository_id] => toolset [versions] => Array ( ) ) ) [timeout] => 45 ) )
Can you please share admin access details and let me check whats going wrong with your setup.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
Thank you. It has now resolved.
