Hi,

I have two forms on my website. One here ( hidden link )for job applications and one here ( hidden link ) for the contact form. Both the post forms are recording responses in the repeatable field groups but the notification emails are either not being sent at all, or are being sent 20 to 30 minutes after the submission was made.

Please help diagnose the issue. Thanks!

Warm regards,
Rithvik

Hi there

I recommend you install a mail logging plugin (e.g. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/) to record what attempts are made to send emails.

Toolset just uses the normal WordPress wp_mail function to send emails, I don't think we could account for why it might take 20-30 minutes for notifications to be "sent" (or does that mean received?).

If you make test submissions of the form, you can use the mail log to check whether an email has been sent. If the attempts to send the emails are being recorded as expected, and there are subsequent problems sending or delivering the emails, you may need to speak to your host about that.

But first please check if the notifications are recorded in the mail log.

Hi Nigel, thanks for the useful tip, the logs showed that the emails were being sent immediately and that the problem was with the host like you had said. Toolset is working superbly as always!

Warm regards,
