Elementor using shortcode selection text edit

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Manually add my own filter field in. You can do this in the normal edit option

Hi, the View widget is entirely developed by Elementor, so their developers would have to add Query Filter attribute support in their widgets. I suggest submitting your request to their support team, and telling them it is important for your site.

In the meantime, you can use a Text widget and insert a View shortcode using any shortcode attributes you want. You can temporarily insert the View using the Fields and Views button in a Content Template editor, then copy + paste the generated shortcode into your Elementor text element.

Hmm, I don't quite follow, could you give me a bit more information? In your most recent screen capture I see a big arrow pointing at the Toolset View element tile in an Elementor builder design. You mentioned you would like us to add the ability to add text to the template you choose. Again, this is the Elementor builder interface so I'm not sure what we (Toolset) could easily add here. Could you explain a bit more? I must not understand completely. Thank you!
