HI Stephanie,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I suspect this issue is caused by the content template that is assigned to your post type however I will need admin access in order to provide a more definitive answer.

Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the website so that I can have a more detailed look at this for you ?

I've enabled the private fields for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Stephanie,

I believe the issue at hand is similar to a previous issue we had.
https://toolset.com/errata/elementor-dynamic-sources-not-working-when-selecting-toolset-fields-as-source/

Unfortunately there isn't much we can do from our site given that elementor maintains the dynamic field sources. You will need to contact them for further instructions on how to resolve this as the problem is an issue with the retrieving the value from custom fields as dynamic sources.

Thanks,
Shane

Hey Shane

thank you for the advice

For understanding: how is it possible then that this here works like a charm? I thought it’s the same technique?

Hi Stephanie,

Unfortunately I'm not able to provide any details on this given that the data is being displayed on the backend but not the frontend.

The elementor team will need to look into this one since they have the capabilities to debug this issue.

Thanks,
Shane

Hey Shane

Did you see the last link? This is a different team section that came with the Theme - i wonder if there might be a workaround?

Hi Stephanie,

Yes I saw the link with the comparison. On the backend elementor is getting the correct data as i've checked but it doesn't seem to be displaying anything on the frontend from the custom fields.

My first thought here is that it may be caching but i'm not seeing any caching plugins on your site. Secondly I thought of recreating the post or the template but these may not be guaranteed to fix the issue.

However I did check the site again before responding and i'm now seeing that the information is being displayed. Were you in contact with the elementor support team ?

Thanks,
Shane

thank you so much, the conditional logic fields were the problem 😊
