Tell us what you are trying to do?
I want to change the "enter a location" placeholder

Is there any documentation that you are following?
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/editing-distance-filter-placeholder/
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/customising-search-form-using-maps-distance-filter-q4/

I tried the codes above but can't get them to work.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

That is strange. It should work.

What if you try to add the following code to your view's custom JS box:

jQuery(document).ready(function($){
$('#toolset-maps-distance-center').attr('placeholder',' replace your text here');
});

That works, thanks!
