This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Edit Wordpress archive

Solution:
If you are using the test site from discover-wp.com where you are not allowed to add any addon theme or plugin.

You should use the plugin "Framework Installer" which you will find from your account's download page at bottom of the page.

I am trying to in training: Creating templates for WordPress archive pages using the WPBakery Page Builder
Get down to: Scroll down to the Templates for this WordPress Archive section. In this editor, you must design the content for a single product entry. We are going to design this using the WPBakery Page Builder.
Press the Update button: but the WPBakery page builder tab does not show anywhere.

Well - could you please share your archive problem URL and access details so I can see whats going wrong with your setup.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Once you install site on any other domain or localhost, add wpbakery page builder plugin and then try to build content template for your archive by following the guidelines given with the following Doc
