I have two edit post forms and neither saves the data. No errors are given. I had use ajax on and turned it off. Same issue. Also, it's supposed to go to a different page but just reloads the same edit page showing what was changed. It seems it's not saving but again, no errors are provided. Looking in logs, no errors either. It worked previously. I had installed google page speed insights to our server but removed it to test...still no change. Nothing else was added, plugins, etc.
Is there any documentation that you are following?

hidden link you can use testagent testagent to see that it isn't saving from the post forms.
I've gone through all of the troubleshooting and found that Paid Memberships Pro update a few days ago (I believe April 30th release) seems to have been what broke this....I submitted a ticket to them. I don't know if you work together with other developers when things like this happen.
I reverted back to version 2.5.7 of Paid Memberships Pro and edit now works correctly again. 2.5.8 which was just released breaks the edit feature of post forms. I have provided the information to PMPro developers.
