Hi, we have added an edit for link to our view, but it is only showing for admin users.

Do you know why this could be?

The Edit form saves the post to a draft when submitted, could this be why?

It's the cancel button on this page - hidden link

Sorry, my earlier reply seems to have been lost.

Have you checked your Access settings for this form?

Go to Toolset > Access Control > Front-end Forms and check which roles can do what for this form, making sure you have granted the required permissions.

If you already have and it is not working, let me know.

Hi, yes we have checked access and they have the correct permissions

According to the Access settings, only those with Creator role can use that form.

That to edit others, use role Member should still be able to edit their own.

It's odd because there is another edit form, which the member can see and edit fine.

The link edit on the attached image is working. But the edit form cancel is not showing for Member user role

The settings are the same for edit own or edit other's posts with that Visitor Cancel form, only Creators have rights.

That's strange this is what I can see (attached)

Are the settings per form or for all forms?

Are you actually deleting posts? The settings for deleting posts apply to all forms, the other settings are specific to individual forms.

I understood that we were talking about the "Visitor cancel" edit form which changes the status of the post to draft, and you have not specified any role other than Creator to be able to use that form.

Did I misunderstand?

Yes correct its for "Visitor cancel" edit form which changes the status of the post to draft.

But I can only find the Access settings for all post forms, how do I change the user roles for that specific form?

It's in the screenshot you shared with me. Please read the titles of the columns, you are looking for Edit Own (or Others) Custom Post with the Form "Visitor Cancel".

Got it! Thank you!

I was on a small screen laptop so the columns were hidden, I zoomed out and then could see them 🙂
