Tell us what you are trying to do?
Dear I am trying to create edit content form for a specific post type. HOwever I receive this message:
Create a new Layout that will include the editing form. You can start from scratch or copy the template you use to display the content and modify it.

Documentation on Toolset edit links • See all available layouts, or create a new one

I followed this documentation (https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/publish-content-from-the-front-end/forms-for-editing/#3-insert-link-to-the-content-template-that-displays-the-form )

and created a content template and even a layout which includes the form.

Best regards

Hi, if your site is using Layouts then you should follow the documentation here: https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/publish-content-from-the-front-end/building-forms-for-editing-when-using-layouts/

See the screenshot attached.

You should create a new Layout and insert a Forms cell containing your edit post Form. Then you should be able to add the link to edit the post content.

Dear Christinan,

Thanks for the link. However I do not get the ability to choose the form for editing. However, I created a form for editing a custom post type and create a layout but I do not see it in views because I prefer to implement it in a view, but I do not get that option what is described above...
So what else should I do?

Best regards

I don't quite understand, sorry! It may be helpful for me to see your wp-admin area. May I log in and see how you have this set up? Please tell me where you want to insert the edit post link, and also tell me which Layout includes the edit post Form. I will review your configurations and give you some advice.
