I have a rule for "contributor" role set to allow for "edit any." However it does not seem to work. On any published post, they have view-only ability, even on the posts they authored. This issue is 100% producible

How do I allow edit ability on published posts?

Hi, you would have to also give Contributors publish ability to allow them to edit published posts. I've asked my developers about this recently and they said unfortunately that is the expected behavior here: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/contributors-should-be-able-to-edit-their-own-content-but-they-cant/
A custom code solution would be required to enable edits without publish capability.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
