Dynamic Template Created by Elementor and Category not displayed properly

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to use the template created by Elementor with custom fields created by Toolset as the dynamic template for a custom post type for other sites. I used it on hidden link, it works well. And I did the same steps for another site (here called as Research), the 1st time I tested, it worked well (then I didn't use this template). and later, I did the same for the 3rd site, and I only wanted to use the dynamic template with the display condition to include only one type under the category. It failed to apply the template to display. It doesn't work even I changed the display condition to include all the types under the category. So I tested in the 1st site Research again, and it failed to display it with the template either.

I will appreciate it much if you could help look into this problem.

I just tested this and it appears to be working correctly.

Can you confirm that your plugins are up-to-date? Elementor 2.2.0 was released last week and includes some fixes for issues with templates. Using that version I didn't find any problems.

Hi Nigel

Thanks for your help. I found it worked by adding a new post to test. And I just updated Elementor to the latest version 2.2.0 to improve the compatibilty.
