I created a template for a custom post type ("Printmagazine") which I am using on several sites. I used the module manager in order to migrate it from one site to the next one. Now, on hidden link, a text field produced duplicated output. The text is shown twice. This does not happen on every post, only on a portion of all posts. When I manually save a post with this problem, the duplication is gone. As I am dealing with nearly 10 websites with many posts which are affected by this, manually re-saving each post is no option. I tried bulk-editing the affected posts (by selecting them all in the posts lists and changing their status to draft, then back to published), but this does not have the desired effect.
Can you give me a hint on solving this?

Hello Bernhard and thank you for contacting Toolset support.
As this is resolved after saving the post, I am keen to think that it is a caching issue. Let's, alos, exclude any compatibility issue by if this issue appears when:
- Only Toolset plugins are activated. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with another plugin.
- The theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty-Twenty. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme.
If the problem disappears, start activating one at a time to track where the incompatibility is produced.
If this does not help, I'd like to check how the content template is built, and one of the affected posts. Your next reply will be private to let you share credentials safely. ** Make a database backup before sharing credentials. **
I understand that deactivating all plugins is part of the standard debugging process which I have gone through quite many times.
But in this case we're talking about a caching issue, at least I hope so, and therefore, I'd be thankful for guidance on how to clear all caching for Toolset views / Toolset content templates / archives.
Why? Because this issue occurs after migration from staging to live. I cannot turn off all plugins on my live environment. And if create another staging by duplicating the live environment, some very important factors which influence this behavior will be affected. That's because this behavior / bug is directly connected to migration.
Sorry to state this quite directly, I hope I could make clear how I think about this.
I am sure there are some helpful standard processes related to Toolset cache clearing?
Kind regards, and thank you for your understanding,
Hello Bernhard and my apologies for the late reply, but I do not work on Wednesdays and Thursdays as you may check on my profile page https://toolset.com/forums/users/jamal-b/
Toolset uses cache only for views. This page does not seem to duplicate the field inside a view.
I suspected caching issues, but I did not think it is coming from the Toolset cache. Maybe from a 3rd party caching plugin.
I inspected the code again and there are some comments that let me think that this is coming from a 3rd party component:
<!-- AI CONTENT END 5 -->
<!-- AI CONTENT END 6 -->
Would you allow me temporary access to the live site or a new staging site where the issue is reproduced? Maybe checking the content template would help me figure out the cause of the issue. as I need to hit some deadlines, I temporarily solved this by manually saving 80 posts. But I guess I will be experiencing the same issue soon because there are a couple of more or less identical websites which I am going to relaunch in the next days. Thus, I would like to keep this ticket open for some more time, and I would be coming back to you as soon as the issue occurs again.
Besides, I'd be thankful for any hint on how to bulk-re-save all posts. Doing this in the mass editing view of WP does not have the same effect as actually opening each single posts and saving it. Only the latter solves the issue. I spent some hours on finding a solution which enables me to bulk-re-save all posts, but everything I found and tried did not solve the issue.
Jamal is on Vacation. This is Minesh here, let me step-in here.
Unfortunately, Toolset does not offer any feature to bulk update the post. If you have any other issue, you are welcome to create a new ticket with every new question you may have.
