[Resolved] Duplicate button Add New Taxonomy on Cred Form drag’n drop

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I'm seeing duplicate "Add New" taxonomy links in a Form after the drag and drop update.

Solution: Update to the latest version of Forms to receive the fix for this issue.

This support ticket is created 5 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

I use your new form builder drag'n drop, but whenever I add a new input which is linked to my taxonomy, Toolset Form add 2 times the button "Add" to add a new taxonomy term on the form input. When I switch to expert mode, I can see the 2 buttons for one input so I delete it there. But whenever I switch back to basic mode (drag'n drop) it reset my form and remove my input which are not required and when I re-insert again my taxonomy input in the form it add again 2 times the button "add".

You can see it from Make, Model, Year and Version.

Hi, unfortunately there was a bug introduced in the new Form builder that our developers are currently working to resolve. We hope to have a round of updates ready for Forms next week to resolve this problem. For now, one possible workaround is to delete the field from the builder, then click the "+" icon instead of dragging and dropping the taxonomy field into the Form builder (see the screenshot). When the field appears in the builder, twirl it open and select the options you want then save the Form again. If you drag the field while it's in the builder, the problem may return. Instead, drag other fields around this field to modify the design. I'll keep you posted here and let you know when the fix is ready to install.

Hi, when are the update coming? It's been one week since I open a ticket for the new Form bug. It's really frustrating, one day my form is alright the second day my form have been reset! All this without touching to expert mode. Please give us an update ASAP. Thank you very much for your help!

Hi, we have released the fix updates for Forms and Views. You can find them now at https://toolset.com/account/downloads, and they should be available for automatic update later today. Please update and let me know if the problem is not resolved.
