[Resolved] Do I need a seperate license for each staging site

This support ticket is created 4 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Just hit our current license limit. Do I nee dto use a seperate license for each live and staging site or can the live and staging site use the same license?

Hi John,

Thank you for getting in touch.

If you want to license the staging site you will need a separate key, however given that it is a staging site you won't need to have a key here.

The only issue is that you won't be able to get the automatic updates on the staging site and you will need to manually update the plugins by downloading the files from our downloads page.

The website will continue to function as normal without the license key.
