Hello,

In my Divi theme builder, I created a template to be used for, say, all my products associated "documentation", which is an option of my "Type" custom taxonomy.
My problem is when I make this association in my theme builder, it automatically associates all the other posts types to "documentation" within the "Type" taxonomy. When I uncheck the box, it unchecks everywhere.

I need to associate my template to only "product" > "documentation"

Please see screenshot below

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I can say as you are using Divi builder the issue is directly related to Divi. Can you please check with Divi support and if they say that Toolset is the core cause of the issue here I would be happy to help further. Can you please get in touch with Divi support and check with them.

Well I didn't get this problem when using another CPT plugin like PODS.
I would have appreciated a little bit more commitment for this issue but so be it. I will reach out to Divi which is not always very reactive and would probably tell me that Divi iw working fine and the problem is with Toolset....

The screenshot you shared is seems to belongs to Divi builder:

We do not have any control over that and as shared if they found and the core problem is Toolset we are more than happy to help and will check the compatibility. I understand that about support of Divi theme but if its Toolset layout I was happy to check but as its Divi builder layout we do not have any conrol on it.

Thanks for your quick reply.
The Divi interface shows that Divi is not able to differentiate the different CPT when linked to a taxonomy. I hoped you could help understanding why I am facing this issue when using Tooselt as I don't have the problem when I create CPT and taxonomy with PODS.
But I will investigate further with Divi first and go back using PODS if I can't sort this out with your plugin. I'll let you know about Divi's answer

Yes sure - its important to know what Divi says here and also ask for any hooks/filters available you can use instead and I'm happy to help after that.

Hello Minesh,
Just for your information as I received an answer from Divi. My custom taxonomy is used transversally with different post types. So when I select a taxonomy option for a specific post type, the association with this taxonomy is also made for the other post types....This is what Divi is supposed to to according to their support.
The only option would be to create another taxo or tag to be used only for a post type so I can target the template.
Have a good day.
Nicolas
