I am trying to: Load an image from Media Library inside a Content Template or View. Using Divi Builder.
Indicates No Images Found and displays nothing when you click the Add Media button.

Hi Kenneth,

Thank you for getting in touch.
Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the website so that I can have a more detailed look at this for you ?

Please where applicable please provide me with a link to an example page where I can see the issue.

I've enabled the private fields for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Kenneth,

Thank you for the credentials.

I was able to see the issue. Can you confirm that this still occurs when you've disabled all the non-toolset plugins and tried again ?

This is a basic debugging step that needs to be done in order for us to know that there isn't some form of plugin conflict happening here.

Thanks,
Shane

Still can't see images when I try to add them in Content Templates and Views after deactivating all plugsin except Toolset Views, Types and Maps (and Modules). And while deactivated, changed to default WP theme 2021.
Not working. Thanks.

Hi Kenneth,

Would you mind if I grabbed a copy of your site so that I can perform some testing here locally?

Also can you recall when you first noticed the issue? Was it after an update?

Thanks,
Shane

When you say "grab" a copy you want to copy the database and files? I don't mind but this is a pretty big site. Probably 125,000 files of which 20,000 or so are images (avg. 704px x 396px ... pretty big photos). Database uncompressed is about 150,000. Might be better if you tinkered around on one of the sub-sites (it's a multisite install) that doesn't have much traffic. Let me know how you want to do it ...

Hi Kenneth,

I'm only seeing 1 site on your multisite install.

If another of your subsites have this issue then I can have a look at that site directly given that i'm having some challenges with creating the copy of the site.

Thanks,
Shane

The sites are related to a single domain (comabeba.com) but each is a separate city. You can see the main page on each subsite on the front end by using the following subdomain urls:
hidden link
hidden link
hidden link
hidden link
hidden link
If you would like to see the occurrence I can give you access to the backend for one of the subsites.
The activated WP Theme 2021 and disabled all but the Toolset plugins and it still occurs. Happens on ALL the subsites.

Hi Kenneth,

Thank you for the links. I took another look at this for you.

From what I see its only showing up the images of the user who uploads the image. For e.g I uploaded a test image in the media library then refreshed the page.

Once I refreshed the page I can still have access to the image when I open the media library. From what I see quite a few of the images were uploaded by the user Ollie O

Perhaps try logging in as this user and see if you're able to have access to the media library files.

Thanks,
Shane

Just to clarify. I have no issue seeing images in the Media Library. Nor do I have a problem seeing and loading an image from the Media Library inside a standard Post Editor. It is only when I click Media button inside a Content Template or Views Editor metabox. Ollie O is my login and the vast majority of images in the library were uploaded by me under that login. Just for grins I created a new Multisite Superuser (which has 100% rights over the entire multisite) and the problem exists under this new user as well.

I replicated your scenario and as you say if you upload a NEW image it shows inside the template editor as if it were the only item in the Media Library. It is not customary behavior for the dialogue box to show only items that are uploaded by a particular user and even it that were the behavior why would it not show the other 4,388 images uploaded to the library by the logged in user ("me")?
Am I the only Views user that has experienced this issue? It's a bit baffling.

Hi Kenneth,

My apologies for the delays on this one, however I will be installing the following plugin on your site https://wordpress.org/plugins/download-plugins-dashboard/

Given that i'm not able to fully clone your website I will try to replicate the issue locally here using your theme.

Please let me know if this is ok with you before I proceed.

Thanks,
Shane
