Hello,
A plugin I am using (WPMUDEV CoursePress Pro) makes use of virtual pages for some of the course pages. Because I am using Layouts, when I navigate to these virtual pages, Layouts is giving me the front-end message "This page doesn't have a template layout" ... "Create a new Layout for...".
Since these pages are virtual, when I click the big blue button, I get an error message "An unexpected error happened." My guess is that Layouts is looking for an actual page or post type, and since there is nothing to find, it is returning an error.
I don't know how I am supposed to display these pages at this point. Some assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I installed a fresh test site, so I could see how Twenty Sixteen Theme handled the virtual pages. When I go to these virtual pages on my test site, Twenty Sixteen just displays what it is suppoed to.
Please let me know if you have any ideas.
Thanks!
Hi, in Toolset > Settings > Layouts, there's a setting that lets you choose what to display when no Layout is found. I'm curious if this will work for you, since your plugin is doing some custom template work on-the-fly. Have you tried selecting an existing Layout as a fallback here? Is it even an enabled option for you?
