[Resolved] Display view in Divi

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

A Toolset View on the page stopped working, showing only the shortcode. The legacy Toolset View editing options were unavailable, and the Toolset Blocks plugin was not active.

Solution:

- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Commercial (tab).
- Click "Check for Updates."
- Ensure the Toolset Blocks plugin is installed and active.

We've had a Toolset view on this page for years working just fine: hidden link. It was implemented using the Divi Toolset view module. But now, it was just showing the shortcode, and the Toolset view module is not available anymore.

So I tried to use the direct view shortcode, that doesn't render either.

I can't seem to activate the legacy view so I can't see a list of my views either anymore...

Hi,

Welcome to Toolset support.

To enable the legacy views please do as follows:

- Go to "Toolset > Settings > General".
- Find the "Editing experience" section.
- Check the "Show both the legacy and Blocks interface and let me choose which to use for each item I build" checkbox.
- Reload the browser page.
- Go to the newly added "Toolset > Views" menu.
- There you will be able to edit the views.

After that, please use the Divi Text Module to add the shortcode and see if it works.

Finally, make sure that you have the latest version of the Toolset plugins:

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Commercial (tab)".
- Click the "Check for Updates" button.
- Update Toolset and its addons there.

Thanks.

Please do as follows:

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Commercial (tab)".
- Click the "Check for Updates" button.
- Select the Toolset blocks and click the activate checobox at the bottom and click the Download button.

After that you should see ethe tab and the option.

Thanks.

You're right, seems the client deleted the Toolset blocks plugin. After installing that back, everything works fine again. Thanks!
