I want to display the names of users in a directory including a map.
On other sites I could do this using Toolset Views. I know I must have been living in a cave for the past few years, but I now see that Views has been replaced by Blocks. Now It seems I can't display a list of users. In fact it looks like I can only list posts and custom post types. Views allowed me to select posts, taxonomies or users.

Is what I am wanting to do possible?
And with Blocks, can I re-use a "view" on other pages like I used to be able to do with Views? I really preferred having a separate section to create my views. I'm really not sure how to get this all working with Beaver Builder and Classic Editor installed (I've had to disable classic editor), but that's another story.

Hi Ian

I suggest you head to Toolset > Settings and there you can enable the legacy Views editor (or show both the new and legacy editors).

There currently isn't support with Views created using the block editor for taxonomy or user Views, but you can still create those with the legacy editor.

Thanks. It would be good to know if the new Blocks feature will work with other types. But I am so glad I can access View via the legacy option. I hope that will always be there!
