Hi there!

I've never used the Toolset Maps before and I have a question I think it's quite simple but I want to be sure before make a quotation for a client.

I have CPT A related to CPT B. The relationship type is "Many to many".
CPT B has a field with the location.

2 questions:
1 - Is it possible to display in a map a list of all the CPT B related to a CPT A?
2 - Is it possible to charge the info of CPT B clicking on the map pin? And if it's not possible, maybe highlight it in the result list?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Pablo,

Thank you for getting in touch.
1 - Is it possible to display in a map a list of all the CPT B related to a CPT A?
Yes it is possible to do this. You can just simply do a child view setup and add the map to it. If there is an existing map on the page then you can just target that map id with the markers of the child view.

2 - Is it possible to charge the info of CPT B clicking on the map pin? And if it's not possible, maybe highlight it in the result list?
Not sure what you're referring to when you say "charge "

Could you provide some clarity on this one.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

Thanks for your answer!

"2 - Is it possible to charge the info of CPT B clicking on the map pin? And if it's not possible, maybe highlight it in the result list?"

I mean to load some info of the CPT in a card, for example.
I don't care if it's on the map like this > hidden link

Or maybe it can be loaded below the map and highlight it by clicking in the map marker, like this > hidden link

Thanks again Shane!

Hi Pablo,

Thank for the clarity.

Yes you can add additional information to the marker.

All you need to do is add the content within the marker shortcode.

[marker] my content here [/marker]

Then the content within the marker shortcodes will display inside the markers.
Thanks,
Shane
