I am trying to:
Display the average rating from a custom post type that has ratings. The following shortcode shows the average rating number, but not the stars
[wpv-post-field name="mrp_rating_result_2_star_rating"]
I also contacted the plugin author for MRP, but am hoping that you have tested integration between your plugin and theirs and know a solution. If you have any advice or a solution I would be very grateful!

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for contacting Toolset support. I have just tested Multi Rating free plugin with using the shortcode that plugin provides and it shows stars correctly from a CPT -- please see attached screenshot.

 [mr_rating_results_list title="Top Ratings" sort_by="highest_rated" limit="10"]

Please use original shortcodes and fields provided by the plugin. It won’t work if the ratings value is coming from Types custom field as there is no linkage between both.

Thank you

Thank you so much for doing that. I believe I was just using the wrong shortcode. Thanks again!
